Privacy Policy

Last updated 2 November 2026

Novelush is a website for reading stories. This policy explains what we collect when you use it, why, and the choices you have. To contact us about your data, email chineduanya@gmail.com.

What we collect

Your text size and page colour settings are stored only on your device.

Why we use it

We use your data to provide the service you asked for, and where we have a legitimate interest in keeping the service secure. We do not sell your personal data.

Who helps us

We use service providers to run the site, and they handle data for us: Railway hosts the site and its database, Cloudflare manages its web address, Resend delivers account emails, Flutterwave takes payments, and Google provides sign-in if you choose it. Some of these providers may process data outside the UK.

Cookies

We use one essential cookie to keep you signed in, and a short-lived one while you sign in with Google. We do not use advertising cookies. If that changes, for example when ads are added, we will update this policy first.

How long we keep it

We keep your account data while you have an account. Security records are kept for a limited time, and purchase records for as long as tax law requires. Ask us to delete your account and we will remove your personal data, unless the law requires us to keep part of it.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct, delete or move your data, or object to how we use it. Email us and we will respond. If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

Children

Novelush is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

Changes

If this policy changes, we will update this page and its date.
